About Julie
Julie Gibson is known in Arlington real estate as someone with energy and precision. She has lived in Arlington for the past eleven years and is attached to the people and the sense of community. Julie believes that Arlington has "the best of both worlds" in that Arlington is "so close to the vibrance of the city although still has the feel of a small town, with great schools to boot"!
In addition to real estate, her other interests include tennis (teaching and playing), marathon running and Big Sister mentoring. Julie realizes the importance of "family values" and realizes that the key to a happy and healthy life revolves around "finding the right balance". Based on this idea, Julie believes that a person's home should be their "place to relax" and their "comfort after a long day".
Julie has been following the housing market since her early 20s and bought her first investment property at the age of 23. She currently owns & resides in a multi-family home in Arlington Heights and continues to invest in Real Estate.
Julie attributes marathon running for giving her discipline and stamina needed to assist her clients with their real estate needs. “It’s taught me how to stay the extra mile and get to the finish line,” she says. She employs this same determination when helping her clients to buy or sell their homes.
Seven years ago Julie made the transition into real estate from the field of social work. As a Licensed Social Worker, she was trained to work one-on-one with people and to listen carefully in order to assess their individual needs. After a longtime interest in analyzing property value trends Julie felt “the career switch was only logical. As a real estate agent, I still get to help people out...only in a different way.” In her debut year with GMAC Julie was the top GMAC sales producer in the nation. She recently earned the Frank Bowes Commmunity Service Award for her continued marathon running contributions to Dana Farber Cancer Research. Julie contributes to Dana Farber for every sale that occurs during marathon training season.
Julie’s expertise is in helping homebuyers and homesellers in Arlington, but she services the entire Boston area.
