We are so proud to be the 2010 recipient of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce “Business of the Year” award.  Since 1945, we have continually reinvented ourselves and continue to invest in the community that has been so good to us.  Whether it is the garden island we maintain at the corner of Mass Ave and Appleton St, hosting our 33rd Annual Christmas Dinner for Arlington residents, supporting our schools, the Boys & Girls club, the Patriot’s Day parade, pony rides at Town Day…more events and organizations than we can list in a blog entry!  Participating in the Arlington community remains our top priority, and we are honored to be recognized by the Chamber for our community commitment.

We are especially proud of our 99% customer satisfaction rating and grateful for the support of the thousands of satisfied clients we have represented over the past sixty five years.

Posted on Quality Service Certification Website:

Top Premier Service Agent of the Month in North America

“I take a proactive approach to real estate, staying on top of services and new technology that can benefit my clients.  QSC allows me to do that by receiving their direct feedback after each and every transaction.  It’s a win-win situation. The feedback I receive from the surveys enables me to see what is important to my clients, and to fine tune my business plan to ensure I am consistently providing exceptional service.  Being Quality Service Certified allows my prospective clients to have a level of security because they can tangibly see what past clients have to say about working with me. Communication between an agent and their clients has long been the single most important factor in the success of any agent.  Taking care to maintain the communication and level of service through this program also allows me to grow and change with the market trends. Utilizing the QSC guarantee in my presentations, and the QSC widget on my website are the best sales and referral tools available.”

BOWES Thanks for Christmas Dinner

Monday, December 28th, 2009

It was another nice Christmas for any Arlingtonian eating alone on Christmas Day. Over fifty meals were served, or delivered, by an amazing group of volunteers. Although this was the 32nd year of our event, it seemed to be one of the best.

Special thanks to the Arlington Lodge of Elks for donating their facility (for 32 years), the Council on Aging for the use of their van and to a great group of volunteers. Our chefs, Pat Casey and Lynne Cabral, our drivers, Don Boudreau and Ted Griffin, our team of helpers, Dan and Margaret Haywood and their three daughters, Kim, Emily and Megan, Steve Rae and daughter Molly Casey, Peter Corwin, Casey West (daughter of Pat Casey), , Bernie Scannell and Elaine Bowes. Festive gifts were provided by Don Conroy through the generosity of the TJX Companies.

We are looking forward to next year.
